How blessed we are to have The Friends of St Martin's.

This group, which was formed in 1996 exists to oversee the social life of our Parish, and it also has a number of significant pastoral responsibilities. The Friends have worked hard in so many areas to build up funds for the beautifying of the Church and for the Maintenance of its Ministry.

Of course, we like to think that all members of St Martin's Church are Friends of the Parish, and it must be said that God has richly blessed us in recent years with countless acts of kindness and generosity. We have faced what seemed like impossible mountains, and we have watched as those MOUNTAINS BECAME MIRACLES!

The Patron Saint of our Parish is Blessed Saint Martin of Tours. The picture above depicts the Roman Centurion cutting his cloak in half to share it with a beggar who later appeared to him in a dream as the Christ.
